Culture is defined as the beliefs, practices5, and social interactions of a particular people or society, while rape is (typically) the use of force by a man to coerce a woman into having sex against her will. Why then are we coining this? The solutions were then all around me, I realized. It turns out that we encourage crimes against women more than ever before by preaching about them, acting upon them, and normalizing them.
